Production Operative Shaftesbury

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - FULL TIME POSITION - MONDAY TO FRIDAY 6AM - 2.30PM CHRISTYS LANE, 2:00pm to 10:30pm WINCOMBE, £11.00 PER HOUR.

As the leading linen hire and laundry service provider to the hospitality industry, our position is growing thanks to our commitment to delivering excellent quality and development of new products to meet the needs of our customers. 

We are currently looking for motivated Production Operatives to grow with us at our Shaftesbury site.

You must have a good standard of general education (must be able to speak and read English) together with the flexibility in your approach to work. Full training will be provided. 

Summary of Role

To prepare, process, finish, repair or despatch items to required quality standards using appropriate equipment or plant, working to Company guidelines on productivity and efficiency and meeting the guarantee of the Customer Commitment.

 

Key Tasks:

• To carry out any reasonable request made by management
• To carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time
• To keep managers, supervisors, colleagues informed as necessary
• To keep accurate records where required
• To wear and use Personal Protective Equipment and handling aids, where supplied, at all times for all relevant tasks
• To carry out all tasks to comply with Company Policy on Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
• To comply with Company Policies and the Terms & Conditions of Employment and follow Company Procedures
• To keep work area clean, tidy, safe and secure at all times
• To attend training courses as required
• To foster and maintain good working relations with colleagues
• To maintain confidentiality of Company and Customer business
• Other Ad hoc duties as required
